Due to all kinds of recent changes in our lives, I hadn't had much time for photography lately. When I finally did pick up my camera again today, I was shocked to learn that I hadn't taken any pictures in 1.5 months!!! :o

So it felt great to finally see the world through a viewfinder again, even if it was just for a short time. A few keepers from my adventures today:

Remnants of an Age

Followed by some sunset shots at the border of NY/VT/Canada:

Haze

(it wasn't really hazy, that's just glare from the off-frame sun)

Welcome back and I do mean that. I'm on the other side. Today is the first day in months I haven't clicked a shutter. Feels good.

I know how you feel Frank. Last time I used my DSLR was when you were here!

My wife broke her leg on April 1. My daughter has been looking for her own apartment and my son has been house shopping. All this has tied me up but it's all okay now; it's all for family so it's all good! My life is finally leveling out. Lynda's leg is healing and she is 'walking' around on a cast; Laurie is completely moved into her apartment as of yesterday and Alan and his wife just finalized the deal on what will be their first 'real' home. Now all I need to do is grab the camera and head out to do some fun shooting!

:tu:

I like the sunset pics Frank. Looks like a nice relaxing, peaceful shoot!

I love finding a set of disembodied stairs with no house attached. It really sparks the imagination and creates a fine subject for photography. I like your B&W capture of it.
