While I was pulling into one of the farms yesterday I saw what could have been an unbelievably cute photo of this barn with all the animals.

The calf that you see peering out of the barn had her head on the outside making the scene.

Although I had my camera beside me I also had a nasty shadow from my milk truck covering the scene, so it wasn't the right time for the photo.

Since the milkhouse I was pumping out of was around 300 feet away, and had 6,000 liters (about 20 min) to pump out I thought that I'd have the perfect chance to just walk back and take the picture.
I was wrong, the calf is still to bashful to stick his head out when there's a stranger on foot.

here's a couple more pic's from the same scene.

this is the bravest cat of the bunch.

and their dog decided to become a model when I was leaving and managed to keep my trucks shadow out of frame.

but the calf still didn't stick her head out :(

On the good side, this farm is now part of my regular route, so you never know what will happen
A photograph can be a Beautiful thing.

As long as you have a camera you'll have a 'next time'.

"f8 and be there" is a great slogan for impulse photography.

Yup, just wait 'til next time. At least you have a neat setting to shoot with. Almost could be a farm "set" with all those hay bales.
